CAN Summer Reading Challenge

Welcome to City Academy Norwich Summer Reading Challenge.

At CAN we love reading, and we know how important it is to develop great reading habits. Reading can help you to achieve your goals in life in lots of ways:

Your vocabulary will become larger and more extensive;

You will do better in school;

You will develop empathy and creativity;

You will gain a deeper understanding of their world;

Your concentration levels will improve;

You will develop a lifelong love of reading.

Your challenge this Summer is to read as many books as you can! You can do this on your own, or with somebody at home – or both.

There will be a £10 book token prize for the students who read the MOST books and do the BEST optional homework!

We have started you off with this one: ‘The Boy at the Back of the Class’. You will receive your copy in the post before the end of the Summer Term.

City Academy Norwich teachers will read the first six chapters with you – click here to see the videos DEAR.
